Haohin does not request access to the user's microphone, camera, or location.

2. Scope of information use

Personal information is used by Haohin within the scope necessary to:

  • Provide and operate the online Xiangqi (Chinese chess) learning platform.
  • Verify and manage user accounts.
  • Provide content and features according to service packages.
  • Store and sync learning progress.
  • Analyze games, score moves and provide results, scores or learning feedback.

When users play against the computer, request hints or use the “Learn from this game” feature, Haohin processes the game's moves in order to:

Haohin does not record audio, does not access the microphone and does not process users' voice data.

Results generated by AI or automated systems are intended to support learning and are not an official ranking or certification of Xiangqi (Chinese chess) skill.

10. Consent and withdrawal of consent

In cases where the law requires users' consent for data processing activities, Haohin will provide the necessary information before users give their consent.

Consent must be given voluntarily and in accordance with the law.

Haohin does not treat silence or non-response as consent where the law requires consent.

Users have the right to withdraw consent for processing activities based on consent through the method provided by Haohin or by contacting Haohin.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the time Haohin received the request.

Withdrawing consent for data necessary to provide a feature may prevent Haohin from continuing to provide that feature.
