Policy on Service Delivery Methods

Legal basis

Pursuant to Article 15 of Decree No. 248/2026/ND-CP dated 30/6/2026 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on E-Commerce, e-commerce platforms with online ordering functions that provide services for direct use on the platform must publicly disclose their policy on the method of service provision, including at least the following:

  • Service term, compatible electronic device types, and the number of devices permitted for simultaneous use.
  • A specific description of how to use the service and its main features.
  • Notice of any restrictions during use (if any).

Haohin (haohin.com) falls under the case specified in clause 1 of Article 15 above: the platform has an online ordering function and provides an online Xiangqi (Chinese chess) learning service for users to use directly on the platform. The policy below fully discloses the 03 mandatory groups of content and applies together with Haohin's Terms of Use, Payment Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

Services provided: Haohin is an online Xiangqi (Chinese chess) learning platform in the form of digital content for self-study. Learners access haohin.com directly to study Opening and Middlegame games by game records, play against the computer, view move suggestions, learn from their own games, and track progress. Haohin does not sell physical goods and does not organize in-person classes with a teacher. The service is access to a library of digital study games (Opening, Middlegame) and playing and analysis tools for the term of the purchased package.

2. Policy on the method of service provision

a) Service term, compatible electronic device types, number of devices permitted for simultaneous use

Service term

Unregistered users (free):

  • No time limit on use of the free portion.
  • Free access to the first few games of each book and to play against the computer.
  • A daily number of free "High move suggestions" and "Learn from this game" uses at the level Haohin announces in the app.

Premium package (unlocks all content and features):

  • 1-month package: 30 days, price 99,000 VND (or 4.99 USD when paying via PayPal)
  • 3-month package: 90 days, price 249,000 VND (or 12.99 USD)
  • 6-month package: 180 days, price 449,000 VND (or 22.99 USD)
  • 12-month package: 365 days, price 799,000 VND (or 39.99 USD)

General provisions on term:

  • The term is counted continuously from the moment the system confirms successful payment, regardless of the number of logins.
  • Pay once per package. Haohin does not auto-renew and incurs no recurring charges.
  • If you buy a new package while your current package is still valid, the time is added together and no remaining time is lost.
  • Prices include tax; no other charges apply.
  • The listed price on the Sign Up and Profile pages at the time of purchase is the price that applies to that transaction; Haohin may adjust prices for future transactions.
  • When a package expires, the account returns to the free mode; learning progress and game history are retained.

Compatible electronic device types

  • Devices: desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets.
  • Form: use directly in a web browser; no app installation required.
  • Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Cốc Cốc… releases from the last 2 years, with JavaScript enabled.
  • Connection: a stable Internet connection is required; 2 Mbps or higher is recommended.
  • No microphone, camera, or other auxiliary device is required.

Number of devices allowed to be used simultaneously

  • One account may be logged in simultaneously on up to 02 (two) devices.
  • If you log in from a third device, the system will reject the new session. Users should contact Haohin (hello@haohin.com or 0332 173 313) to have the old device removed, then log in again.
  • Login sessions expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity; you will then need to log in again. Haohin may adjust this period and will announce it on this page.
  • Accounts are for one learner. Selling, renting, or sharing accounts with others is strictly prohibited.

b) Specific description of how to use the service and the service's main features

Steps to use the service

  • Visit haohin.com and register an account with your email and password.
  • Try the first games of each book for free and play against the computer to experience it before paying.
  • Go to the Profile or Sign Up page, choose a suitable package, and pay: customers using the Vietnamese interface pay via PayOS (bank transfer, VND); customers using an interface in another language pay via PayPal (USD).
  • After successful payment, Premium access is activated automatically on the exact account you registered. If you have paid but are not activated after 15 minutes, contact Haohin via hello@haohin.com or 0332 173 313 for assistance.
  • Learn directly on the website. Progress, move scores, and game history are saved per account and can be used on any logged-in device.

The service's main features

  • Learn openings and middlegames from classic manuals (Plum Blossom Manual, Secrets in the Orange, Counter Plum Blossom, Zi Chu Dong Lai): step through each move from the book on an interactive board, with game lists by chapter.
  • Play the computer at four levels (Novice, Knight, Outstanding General, Grandmaster), with rules limiting consecutive checks.
  • Best-move hints and "Learn from this game": the engine points out mistakes in the game you just played, explains why, and shows better moves.
  • Track your learning progress and move scores on the Profile page.
  • Multilingual interface.
  • Guides and articles about Xiangqi (Chinese chess).

How the service is provided

The service is provided online, immediately after payment confirmation: the system unlocks content on the buyer's own account. Haohin does not ship physical goods, does not deliver lesson files, and does not provide downloadable materials.

c) Notice of usage limitations (if any)

  • An Internet connection is required. The service does not support offline learning and does not provide games or materials for download.
  • Unregistered visitors can only try a few free games at the start of each book and have a daily number of "Best-move hints" and "Learn from this game" uses according to the limits Haohin publishes in the app; exceeding the limit requires registering an account.
  • Move calculation and game analysis run on Haohin's systems and are subject to concurrent request limits to prevent abuse. During peak hours you may see a message that the system is busy; please try again shortly.
  • Comments, hints, scores and position evaluations produced by the computer are for practice reference only and are not rankings, certificates or results with legal validity.
  • Premium content is locked until payment succeeds. When a plan expires, games and features outside the free scope are locked again.
  • Very old browsers or disabled JavaScript may cause some features not to display or work properly.
  • Some features use third-party services such as payment gateways, email delivery and automatic translation of multilingual content. These services may be temporarily slow or unresponsive; Haohin will fix this and it will not be counted as user error.
  • The system may be briefly interrupted for maintenance and upgrades. For long interruptions affecting plan duration, Haohin will give advance notice or extend the plan by the corresponding period.
  • Not for commercial use: do not resell access, do not copy or distribute content, do not automatically harvest Haohin data.
  • A limit of 02 simultaneous devices as in section a) above. Violating the account-sharing rules may lead to temporary account suspension.
  • The service is a self-study support tool and does not guarantee any specific learning outcome or competition result; results depend on each person's time and study method.

3. Additional public information

Haohin does not provide services in the form of prepayment with later use at a transaction location, so it does not fall under the case in Clause 2, Article 15. The information below is additionally published so that users and regulatory authorities can fully cross-check it.

Conditions and forms of service use

The service is used entirely online on the website haohin.com. Users do not need to visit a transaction location and do not need to bring documents.

Conditions of use: an Internet connection is required (unregistered guests can only use the free portion; an account is needed to use all content). For paid content, successful payment for the corresponding study package is required.

Form of use: log in and study directly on the platform, with a maximum of 02 simultaneous devices.

Service use term

As in item a) above: the free portion has no time limit; Premium packages have a term of 30, 90, 180 or 365 days from the date of successful payment, do not auto-renew, and additional purchases add to the remaining time.

Conditions for exchange, cancellation and arising costs

  • Changing packages or extending the term: users can purchase another package at any time; the time is added to the remaining term. Haohin does not charge a package change fee.
  • Cancellation: users can stop using the service at any time. Because Haohin does not charge periodic fees and does not auto-renew, stopping use does not incur any fee and no cancellation procedure is required.
  • Requests to cancel a transaction or for a refund: carried out in accordance with Haohin's Refund Policy at haohin.com/trang/chinh-sach-hoan-tien. Requests should be sent to hello@haohin.com with transaction information; Haohin checks the refund conditions and the actual status of the transaction. Where the law provides for a different deadline or refund right that is more favorable to consumers, the legal provisions shall apply.
  • Arising costs: Haohin does not charge any other costs beyond the publicly announced package price, which already includes tax. Fees charged by banks, payment gateways or currency conversion, if any, are set by the payment service provider and are not collected by Haohin.

4. Rights and obligations of service users

  • To fully use the purchased content during the package term.
  • To receive support when technical problems occur.
  • To provide accurate registration information, keep passwords secure and not share accounts.
  • To comply with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and applicable law.

5. Effectiveness and policy updates

This policy takes effect from the issuance date stated above and is published at haohin.com. When there are changes to the manner of service provision such as term, devices, number of simultaneous devices, features or restrictions, Haohin will update them on this page. Important changes will be notified on the website or via registered email.
